Selling ebooks in Person!
Selling eBooks should be a task done on the internet. After all, they are called E-Books (as in electronic books, right?). The problem with selling ebooks is that you often have to speak with prospective buyers in person and without a tangible product to let them feel in their hands, most of the time you are left spilling on about your book, passing out flyers and cards and hoping they remember to log in and check out your products when they make it home and have time. (How often do you remember someone’s website that you met in line at Walmart?)Buy Vitamins In the Applesauce Today!
For me, I decided to be proactive and I’ve found a company named Drop Cards that is just what the doctor ordered! With Drop Cards, I now have downloadable content cards that I can sell in the flesh! These cards work well for book tours and street campaigns. I simply tell the potential consumers about my books, give them a brief description and give them the oppurtunity to purchase my book right then and there! they can then take the book card home, log in to the content website and download my books to their phones, tablets and computers.

With my new eCards, I am now positioning myself for a massive street campaign here in Dallas. I not only will be doing more book tours but I now also have the ability to hit downtown and see how strong my “sales hand” is (not to be confused with my “pimp hand” which is quite strong). I can approach potential buyers in my target demographic, shake their hand and leave with cash in hand. Consumers can now leave with an actual product. Win/win for everyone!
Anywho, I’ll keep you guys updated on my progress and as I refine my skills I’ll post more ways to market and sell eBooks to the masses(^;
